Linkages between Trade, Development and Poverty Reduction

CUTS Centre for Trade, Economics and Environment (CUTS-CITEE), Jaipur, India implemented this project along with SAWTEE. The four-year project was implemented in 16 countries across Asia, Africa and Europe. It aimed to discover more about how trade policies affect the poor and used the findings to advocate for pro-poor trade policies in these regions and at the international level. SAWTEE conducted research works focusing on Nepal such as perception survey of stakeholders in Nepal on linkages between trade, development and poverty reduction. The project was supported by the Department for International Development (DFID), the United Kingdom and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Netherlands.
