Sustainable Development Investment Portfolio (SDIP)
SAWTEE, in collaboration with CUTS-CITEE, implemented the Sustainable Development Investment Portfolio. It is a, Department of Foreign Aid and Trade (DeFAT) (Government of Australia)’s multi-year portfolio investment approach in South Asia. SAWTEE conducted two specific studies in Nepal: “Study on Nontariff Barriers of Nepal’s Vegetables and Fruits Exports” and “Study on Impact of Chure Destruction on Water”. The broad aims of the studies were to identify issues and concerns with regard to the two topics. They were to also explore areas of regional cooperation, in general, and India-Nepal cooperation, in particular.
