Mr. Adnan Rasool

Visiting Fellow, CPPG, Pakistan

Adnan Rasool is a Visiting Fellow at Center for Public Policy and Governance (CPPG) at Forman Christian College, Lahore, Pakistan. He is also a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Political Science, Georgia State University. He is deputed on a Taiwan Fellow at National Sun Yat Sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Adnan is also a Student Innovation Fellow at Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at Georgia State University, Atlanta, USA.
Adnan’s research falls under both comparative politics and international relations. Within the domain of comparative politics, his research deals with democratization, authoritarianism and state institutions while his work in international relations is focused on regionalism and regional organizations. Adnan specializes in network analysis, web scraped data analysis and content analysis through Python.
Adnan has extensive experience in policy making and implementation. As Head of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz)’s English Media and Research wing, he worked on the manifesto as well as a number of economic policies that are under implementation now. His policy work covers domains like trade, privatization and devolution. He previously has worked for the World Bank, USAID and United Nations.
