BRI platform for economic cooperation, not a geopolitical tool: Chinese envoy

A conference was held in Kathmand to mark 10 years of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), an ambitious effort to deepen regional cooperation and improve connectivity on a trans-continental scale.

Speaking in the conference, Bhoj Raj Paudel, Policy Reform Advisor, SAWTEE, expressed his opinion that the majority of Nepali projects unde the BRI are merely a wish list floated by the politicians, which will not lead the country to progress.
