Dr. Khondaker Golam Moazzem
Research Director, CPD, Bangladesh
Dr. Khondaker Golam Moazzem is industrial economist. His area of interests include trade related issues at the bilateral, regional and multilateral levels (particularly trade, investment and connectivity), development of industrial enterprises, entrepreneurship, dynamics of private sector and foreign investment.
Dr. Moazzem has a PhD from the Kyoto University, Japan where he also was a visiting fellow at the Centre for South East Asian Studies (CSEAS). He has been associated as a member in various committees at both the national and international levels.
Dr. Moazzem has published in international peer-reviewed journals, book chapters and co-authored several publications at the CPD (Centre for Policy Dialogue, Bangladesh). His recent publication – “Cross-border Connectivity Initiatives across South Asia: Would the Broader Region-wide Connectivity be Ensured?” – is a book chapter published in the book “Regional Integration in South Asia: Essays in Honour of Dr. M. Rahmatullah” edited by Prabir De & Mustafizur Rahman.
