Mr. Md. Jahid Ebn Jalal

Md. Jahid Ebn Jalal is Research Associate at the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM). He has an MSc in Economics (Energy & Environment) from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai, India, under an IDRC scholarship.
In addition, he has an MSc in Agricultural Finance and BSc in Agricultural Economics from the Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology, Bangladesh Agricultural University. Mr. Jalal received a National Science & Technology (NST) Fellowship for his research proposal focused on multidimensional poverty. His primary research interests are in areas like Environmental Economics, Agricultural Economics, Development Economics and Labor Economics.
