Ms. Sabnam Shivakoti
Joint Secretary, Ministry of Agricultural Development, Nepal
She is Joint Secretary under the Ministry of Agricultural Development and has been associated with the Government of Nepal, for the last twenty years under various capacities.
She was engaged in preparing various policy and strategic documents, project designs and coordination with development partners. She had headed National Plant Quarantine Program as program chief and currently, she is heading Postharvest Management Directorate under Department of Agriculture as Program Director. She is also Flagship Manager for Innovation and Agro-entrepreneurship Flagship Program.
She has keen interest in policy research, especially in the area of food and nutrition security, trade and agribusiness and has few publications to her credit.
She holds a Masters in Agriculture from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand.
