Mr. Hassan Ziyau
Senior Editor, Public Service Media, Maldives
Mr. Ziyau is the Senior Editor at Public Service Media, the official state media in the Maldives. He has two Master degrees—one in Mass Communication and another in International Relations. Having worked in media for more than 12 years, he was also a Visiting Lecturer at Maldives National University in 2015.
In 2014, Mr. Ziyau received the National Award in recognition for his contribution in the media sector and in spreading media awareness among youths.
Also known as Ziyaa, Mr. Ziyau is a well-known TV host and foreign affairs analyst. Currently, he hosts Zimmaa on TVM and PSMNEWS. In 2014, he participated in United States State Department’s premier International Visitor Leadership Program. He has represented the Maldives at several International conferences and gatherings.
