Dr. Ramesh Paudel
Visiting Fellow, Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University, Canberra
Dr. Paudel has worked as an academician in Nepal and Australia for over 20 years. He is an Applied Economist extensively involved in policy research. Dr. Paudel has published a number of academic papers across diverse areas in development economics. Dr. Paudel’s research focuses on trade, economic growth, financial development, foreign exchange rate system, domestic and foreign investment, structural transformation, and governance.
In the last couple of years, he has been involved in various projects of the Government of Nepal, World Bank and Asian Development Bank.
Ramesh Paudel holds a PhD in Economics from the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia and a Master by Research degree in Economics from the University of Wollongong, Australia. Dr. Paudel also has undergraduate and Master level university training from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu.
