Nitya Nanda is a research professional with over two decades of experience in research, consulting and teaching – among other things, the political economy and legal analysis of areas such as international trade, investment and environment and development issues concerning South Asia, South-east Asia and African nations as well. He has been involved with about 40 research/consulting projects, and in about half of them as the principal investigator. Currently, he is a Fellow with TERI where he is also the Convenor of the Centre for Resource Efficiency and Governance. He has more than 120 research publications including nine articles in peer-reviewed journals, 30 in other journals, 35 book chapters in edited volumes, 28 monographs/briefing papers, and 12 conference papers. He has authored two books and also edited four volumes. He has written several articles for newspapers and magazines. Currently, he is also the editor of TERI’s flagship academic (peer-reviewed) journal, Journal of Resources, Energy and Development.
